SmartCab is an interactive advertising company started by two college students Jean Akingeneye and Yannick Ebibie Nze, which will initially sell advertising placement to companies on a patented interactive touch screen inside taxicabs that will provide both informational and entertainment content.
SmartCab will develop and market an interactive, touch screen digital display device for installation in the back seats of taxicabs. The idea is that the screens will display the company’s website, which will contain information and advertisements of interest to passengers. SmartCab provide the device to taxicab owners at no charge and pay them a percent of advertising revenues. We are envisionning "Smart Cabs" (those equipped with your device) operating in every major city in USA.
